Der Vorlass umfasst Materialien von Dr. Roland Bless, die aus seiner Tätigkeit bei der OSEC (bis 1991), aus seiner Zeit als Informationschef des Integrationsbüros EDA/EVD (1991-1993) und als Leiter des Presse- und Informationsdienstes der Bundeskanzlei (1993-1997) stammen. Von besonderem Interesse sind jene Dokumente, welche die Beziehung der Schweiz zur EG bzw. EU zum Thema haben. Dazu gehören Materialien zur Volksabstimmung vom 6. Dezember 1992 über den Beitritt der Schweiz zum EWR.
