History
1888 gründen Jean und Louise Villiger die Cigarrenfabrik in Pfeffikon LU. 1950 tritt Heinrich Villiger in das Unternehmen ein, später auch Bruder Kaspar Villiger (bis 1989, Wahl in den Bundesrat). Bis heute ist Heinrich Villiger Alleininhaber der VILLIGER-Gruppe, die rund 1‘400 Arbeiter beschäftigt. Die drei produzierenden Werke in Pfeffikon (CH), Waldshut-Tiengen (DE) und Bünde (DE) exportieren weltweit in rund 80 Länder. 2013 eröffnet VILLIGER eine eigene Manufaktur für handgerollte Premium Zigarren in Brasilien.
